1. Controller

2. What data we process

This website has a contact form, but no accounts and no analytics or advertising trackers. We only process personal data when you contact us yourself through the form, by email or on LinkedIn:

• Your name, email address and message, plus the language of the page you were on, to answer your request and, where relevant, to prepare or perform an engagement.
• If you book through Google Calendar, Google receives the details you enter there.
• We use Resend to send the form as an email. Vercel hosts the website and sees your IP address in server logs to keep the site secure and available. They process data only on our behalf, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where needed.
• Links to Google Maps, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and portfolio sites take you to other parties, whose own privacy rules apply.

3. Cookies

This website places no tracking, analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, so no cookie banner is required. There is one functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language choice. It contains no personal data. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google.

4. Legal basis and retention

We process messages on the basis of legitimate interest or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

We keep messages only as long as needed, in principle at most 12 months after the last contact. Data we must keep longer by law, such as for an engagement and invoice, is kept for as long as the law requires.

5. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Email contact@joeywegman.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, such as the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Netherlands) or the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spain).
